What Baptism?
In which Christ?
Mark 16:16
“The
one
having
believed
and
having
been
baptized
will
be
saved, but the one having disbelieved will be condemned.”
- Berean Literal Bible
What
else
is
Baptism
other
than
an
open
declaration
of
our
faith
in
Christ
in
the
first
place?
The
next
question
immediately
to
follow
MUST
BE:
“WHICH
CHRIST,
the
Christ,
having
saved
ALL
humanity
already
with
His
Blood
on
the
cross,
or
the
false
christ
who’s
atonement
was
limited
to
only
those
who
‘chose’
Him?”.
The
verse
above
clearly
states
that
we
have
to
BOTH
believe
in
Christ
and
be
baptized
into
HIM,
in
order
to
be
saved
,
not
only
the
one
or
the
other.
Notice
how
baptism
is
omitted
in
the
second
part
of
the
verse.
The
baptism
of
the
unbeliever
becomes
null
and
void,
as
the
unbeliever
alone
is
already
to
be
condemned
in
any
case.
“Condemn”
(#2632–
Katakrinó
)
means
to
judge
worthy
of
punishment
.
It’s
also
clear
in
several
Biblical
passages
that
baptism
follows
immediately-,
or
at
least
shortly
after
one’s
conversion
and
what better example is there than the lovely testimony of Paul in
Acts 22:10-16
?
Acts 22:10-16
“
10
Then
I
said,
'What
shall
I
do,
Lord?'
And
the
Lord
said
to
me,
'Having
risen
up,
go
to
Damascus,
and
there
it
will
be
told
you
concerning
all
things
that
it
has
been
appointed
you
to
do.'
11
And
while
I
could
not
see
from
the
brightness
of
that
light,
I
came
to
Damascus,
being
led
by
the
hand
by
those
being
with
me.
12
And
a
certain
Ananias,
a
devout
man
according
to
the
Law,
borne
witness
to
by
all
the
Jews
dwelling
there,
13
having
come
to
me
and
having
stood
by
me,
said
to
me,
'Brother
Saul,
receive
your
sight.'
And
the
same
hour
I
looked
up
at
him.
14
Then
he
said,
'The
God
of
our
fathers
has
appointed
you
to
know
His
will,
and
to
see
the
Righteous
One,
and
to
hear
the
voice
out
of
His
mouth.
15
For
you
will
be
a
witness
for
Him
to
all
men
of
what
you
have
seen
and
heard.
16
And
now
why
do
you
delay
?
Having
arisen,
be
baptized
,
and
wash
away
your
sins,
calling on His name.'”
- Berean Literal Bible
Another
beautiful
baptism
unfolds
in
Acts 8:29-39
when
the
Lord
told
Philip
to
go
to
the
desert
road
that
went
down
from
Jerusalem
to
Gaza.
An
Ethiopian
eunuch,
who
was
on
his
way
to
Jerusalem
to
worship,
was
reading
the
Book
of
Isaiah and the Lord sent Philip to him to bring Jesus into his life.
Acts 8:29-39
“
29
Then
the
Spirit
said
to
Philip,
“Go
up
and
join
this
chariot.”
30
Philip
ran
up
and
heard
him
reading
Isaiah
the
prophet,
and
said,
“Do
you
understand
what
you
are
reading?”
31
And
he
said,
“Well,
how
could
I,
unless
someone
guides
me?”
And
he
invited
Philip
to
come
up
and
sit
with
him.
32
Now
the
passage
of
Scripture
which
he
was
reading
was
this:
“HE
WAS
LED
AS
A
SHEEP
TO
SLAUGHTER;
AND
AS
A
LAMB
BEFORE
ITS
SHEARER
IS
SILENT,
SO
HE
DOES
NOT
OPEN
HIS
MOUTH.
33
“IN
HUMILIATION
HIS
JUDGMENT
WAS
TAKEN
AWAY;
WHO
WILL
RELATE
HIS
GENERATION?
FOR
HIS
LIFE
IS
REMOVED
FROM
THE
EARTH.”
34
The
eunuch
answered
Philip
and
said,
“Please
tell
me,
of
whom
does
the
prophet
say
this?
Of
himself
or
of
someone
else?”
35
Then
Philip
opened
his
mouth,
and
beginning
from
this
Scripture
he
preached
Jesus
to
him.
36
As
they
went
along
the
road
they
came
to
some
water;
and
the
eunuch
said,
“Look!
Water!
What
prevents
me
from
being
baptized?”
37
And
Philip
said,
“If
you
believe
with
all
your
heart,
you
may.”
And
he
answered
and
said,
“I
believe
that
Jesus
Christ
is
the
Son
of
God.”
38
And
he
ordered
the
chariot
to
stop;
and
they
both
went
down
into
the
water,
Philip
as
well
as
the
eunuch,
and
he
baptized
him.
39
When
they
came
up
out
of
the
water,
the
Spirit
of
the
Lord
snatched
Philip
away;
and
the
eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing.”
- NASB 1995
To
be
baptized
into
the
TRUE
Christ
is
to
be
clothed
with
Him,
to
have
the
full
armour
of
God
on
and
to
have
the
protecting
power
of
the
Holy
Spirit
against
the
evil
one.
One
can
ONLY
receive
the
Holy
Spirit
upon
being
baptized
in
the
TRUE Christ. No Holy Spirit, no protection, only misery!
Into which Christ was Paul baptized?
Into the One he proclaims in the Bible!
1 Timothy 1:15
“Here
is
a
trustworthy
saying
that
deserves
full
acceptance:
Christ
Jesus
came
into
the
world
to
save
sinners--of
whom I am the worst
.”
- New International Version
Does the Bible talk about infant baptism at all?
NO!
Infant baptism originates in paganism
and the Roman Catholic church kept it intact,
Please
find
out
for
yourself
the
extent
of
infant
baptism
practices
across
virtually
all
pagan
religious
borders
around
the
world
before
Christianity
even
existed.
And
the
common
goal
of
each?
Infant
‘cleansing’
and
‘-protection’.
Since
Constantine I
already,
pagan
rituals
were
‘
christianized
’.
Constantine I
has
never
converted
to
Christianity
at
all,
but
he
only
pretended
to
have
been,
simply
for
political
reasons
and
self-interest.
Just
check
his
‘famous’
‘
Arch
of
Constantine
’
he
had
erected
after
his
conquering
“
Battle
of
the
Milvian
Bridge
”
(October
28,
312
CE).
Does
he
pay
ANY
tribute
to
Christ
on
that
eyesore
at
all?
NO!
He
pays
tribute
to
the
sun
god
Sol
Invictus
,
who
‘gave’
him
victory
over
his
rival
Maxentius.
See
for
yourself
the
symbol
of
Sol
Invictus
on
that
arch
and
see
its
saturating
pagan
symbols
all
over,
amongst
them
the
Greek
fluted
Corinthian
columns
and
capitals
and
the
thousands
of
eggs
and
darts,
‘complementing’
them.
And
the
St.
Peter’s
Basilica?
Greek
fluted
Corinthian
columns,
capitals,
eggs
and
darts
all
over
as
well,
in
PLAIN
SIGHT
!
The
Roman
Catholic
church
is
built
upon
sun
worship
and
the
‘angel
of
light’
has
brilliantly
fooled
the
current
1.3
billion-membered
church (let alone all the others). What else is infant baptism other than the ‘christianized’ version of the pagan one?
And
for
those
of
you
who
were
baptised
as
infants,
but
who
had
been
baptized
again
into
the
same
‘false
christ’,
only
this
time
by
emersion
for
the
sole
sake
of
‘potentiating’
your
salvation,
think
again.
It
was
in
vain,
because
you
believe
in
vain.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2
“
1
Now,
brothers,
I
want
to
remind
you
of
the
gospel
I
preached
to
you
,
which
you
received,
and
in
which
you
stand
firm.
2
By
this
gospel
you
are
saved,
if
you
hold
firmly
to
the
word
I
preached
to
you.
Otherwise
,
you
have
believed in vain
.”
