Glory awaiting All Humanity Revelation 21:4 “‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”” - Berean Standard Bible Yes, Jesus will make everything new! Revelation 21:5 “And the One seated on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new .” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are faithful and true .”” - Berean Standard Bible But, before we get there Bear in mind that we are dealing here with the Almighty God of the whole universe, macro cosmos and micro cosmos alike ( Psalm 19:1 ; 1 Chronicle 29:11 ) and that His ways are not our ways ( Isaiah 55:8-9 ). Both cosmoses are unquantifiable. To put God’s exuberance in ordinary words; when God is doing something, He not only does it magnificently, but also on a gigantic scale, too unfathomable for the human mind to comprehend. Since His Glory of joy and beauty is beyond infinity, and since everyone of us will have part in that, why would you think He would water down the suffering on earth that precedes that glory? Fact is, and this being the aim with this page, that this glory will outweigh the suffering likewise beyond infinity ( Romans 8:18 ). And that is where we have to put our focus. Jesus Christ, God of the Bible ( Isaiah 9:6 ), God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, has paid the price in full ( John 19:30 ) and has made room for the above, as the ultimate- and everlasting consummation of His Divine Drama on earth! And for the interim, i. e. the imminent Apocalypse, He did not say what He said in Luke 12:49 . with no reason. No, He was expressing His end focus on the Glory He was going to share with all His people ( Hebrews 12:2 )! If THIS does not only make us turn our own eyes away from the evil and suffering on our planet here and now, but also give all of us the incredible hope of beauty and joy awaiting us, then what will? Besides, there is no way that this Glory can be expressed in any way, let alone imagine. Remember this in any adversity you encounter! Hope is a given!
