Wars - Who Causes Them, God or Man?

Isaiah 45:7 “I form the light and create the darkness; I bring prosperity and create calamity. I, the LORD, do all these things.” - Berean Study Bible Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:” - Berean Study Bible Ecclesiastes 3:8 “a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” - Berean Study Bible ‘Eternal-hell-believing’ ‘Christian’, do you believe in the Sovereignty of God and that He is in control of everything? The Germans have a perfect word for combining a “yes” and a “no” to express two opposites in one answer to a dual question, like the one above. “Jain” combines “ja” and “nein” simultaneously. So, let’s pretend you are German and that you believe in ‘free will’. Then “jain” would be your answer here, simply because your belief in ‘free will’ rejects God’s Will to be in control of your ‘free’ will. Having this mindset, you blame humans for having caused any adversity at hand, including yourself. Blaming people is destructive. Blaming God, is liberating! Romans 9:20 “But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, “Why did You make me like this?”” - Berean Study Bible If you believe this verse in the Bible, how can you ever take sides, or point a finger to anyone in any circumstances? Did Jesus blame the soldiers who killed Him? NO. He prayed to His Father to forgive them, because they didn’t know what they were doing! Romans 23:34 “And Jesus was saying, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they cast lots, dividing His garments.” - Berean Study Bible Of course the soldiers did not know what they were doing, simply because they had to do it for ALL humanity to be saved through His death! They had to be put in their frame of mind in ORDER to be able to do what they did. They thought they were doing the right thing, until God would open their eyes afterwards, like He did with the centurion. Mark 15:39 “When the centurion standing there in front of Jesus saw how He had breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”” - Berean Study Bible When it comes to a devastating war and you being within your comfortable home, following global events on a daily basis, how many hours and nerve cells have you respectively wasted and lost by blaming the one, or the other? Hatred and fear go hand in hand, constantly playing the ‘blame game’. How else? If one believes in ‘free will’ and ‘free choice’, it goes without saying that blaming is by default. Moreover, taking sides only always leads to discord and division. Which God are you praying to? The God who is going to condemn billions upon billions to an everlasting ’hell’, or the loving God who gave everlasting LIFE for ALL? 1 Peter 3:12 “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”” - Berean Study Bible Are you righteous because of righteous faith? No. You do NOT believe in the God who has already declared the ungodly to be righteous! Romans 4:5 is a ‘dangerous’ verse, ignored by the church, because it refutes ‘eternal’ hell. How can you expect God to answer your prayers if you do not acknowledge His universal redemption on the cross, the act by which He already reconciled the whole world to Himself ( 2 Corinthians 5:19 ) Romans 4:5 “But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.” - NET Bible 2 Corinthians 5:19 “that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” - Berean Study Bible God already set the time for everything under the sun. Wars are no different. Psalm 46:9 “He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields in the fire.” - Berean Study Bible May God reveal to you the Truth!
