Luke 21:15 “for I will provide you eloquence and wisdom which none of your adversaries will be able to oppose or refute .” - New American Standard Bible Pastor, ‘Christian’, what does this verse tell you? Whom did Jesus address here? His disciples , not so? His disciples will be given eloquence and wisdom . And who are his disciples’ adversaries here? The are the ones who will neither be able to oppose, nor refute both His disciples’ eloquence and wisdom alike. Pastor, ‘Christian’ do you recognise Jesus’ promise to His disciples here? God’s promises ALWAYS go into fulfilment. The first-hand experience of Hans-Joachim and Willien with those calling themselves ‘Christians’. Let me express Hans-Joachim’s- and my reality with regard to the above verse and Jesus’ promise being fulfilled in our life. To date NONE of those calling themselves ‘Christians’ and who upfront and personal (either verbally, or by way of e- mail) have heard our belief in the Gospel of peace, the Gospel of salvation for ALL humanity, have either opposed, or refuted our eloquence re Christ’s unlimited salvation on the cross! What does this tell you, Pastor, ‘Christian’? In the event of you being one of those I refer to in the immediate paragraph above, do you have a recollection of the particular occasion(s) with either Hans-Joachim, or me in this respect? Do you remember your total silence… your words of sarcasm… your words of anger… your excuse(s) of having other appointments to take care of, and/or your words of malice? Moreover, where did you counterargue? Where did you refute our words? You have concealed the absence of these two with either passive-, or active hostility. A classic example of ‘attack being the best form of defence’. Can you face that reality of yours? Pastor, ‘Christian’, what is your reality by default, since you are most of times surrounded by like-minded ‘Christians’… the ‘Christians’ by their billions across the globe? How many times has your belief around Christ’s limited salvation on the cross been challenged by them? Hardly ever, if not ever? In the event of you indeed been challenged by the occasional one in your community struggling with this issue, how have you reacted to him or her? Back to our case, did your negative behaviour put you in the category of the “adversaries”… or in the category of the “disciples”? It goes without saying. What’s more, it speaks book volumes. May God make you aware of your demeanour, when challenged with the Truth.
