Ephesians 1:9-10 “ 9  he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10  to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment-- to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.” - New International Version Pastor, ‘Christian’, what does the “ according to his good pleasure ” here mean to you? That God has good pleasure in abandoning most of humanity amidst torture… or that He has good pleasure in uniting ALL of His creation at the time already determent? Do you also notice the “ purposed in Christ ”? He is a purposeful God that WILL make His ultimate purpose become fulfilled. Have you ever given it a thought WHY you vehemently want an everlasting hell of condemnation to exist? Moreover, why do billions upon billions cling onto this atrocious lie, carried forward over generations? Does this vast number of so-called Christians at all gel with what Jesus had said while He was on earth… that only a few will go on the narrow road and through the small gate leading to life ( Mattheus 7:13-14 )? Pastor, ‘Christian’, what are the odds that you are not even aware that you are deceived? Very high! Simply because the deceived will not know he or she is deceived, unless God opens his or her eyes. On the flipside… what are the odds that you do know the truth, but are not courageous enough to admit it running the risk of being excommunicated by the million-fold deceived community, left alone ( John 12:42 )? When you make a turnaround, do you for one moment think that God will forsake you? Never in a billion years! Like the lost son, He will receive you with open arms and a banquet of joy. However, to walk in the Truth is NOT for sissies… it takes guts and loneliness and suffering and endurance beyond imagination, but oh so worthwhile! Walking on the narrow path is a lonesome affair. Are you prepared to get off your broad road with ample company and embrace the narrow one where there will be most likely no one at your side, except for Christ Himself? Are you prepared to let go of social media to give all your time earnestly searching for the Truth in bravery… trusting Him all the way for giving that? Are you prepared to walk alone and be rejected left, right and centre? May God give you the courage to take the leap.
