Eternal Punishment – Does Jesus Say This?
Off course NOT… FALSE Christians do!
Jesus talks about punishment, yes…. but NEVER EVER as being ETERNAL.
Matthew 25:46
“And these will go away into eternal punishment; but the righteous into eternal life."”
- Berean Literal Bible
Matthew 25:46
“And these shall go away to punishment age-during, but the righteous to life age-during.'”
- Young’s Literal Translation
Pastor, ‘Christian’, which of the two above do you prefer?
Matthew 25:46
“καὶ ἀπελεύσονται οὗτοι εἰς κόλασιν αἰώνιον , οἱ δὲ δίκαιοι εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον .”
- Westcott & Hort 1881
#166 – aiōnion (αἰώνιον) – age-long (long during)
An eon is a very long-, but nevertheless a limited period.
What else does Jesus say?
John 12:32
“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all to Myself."”
- Berean Literal Bible
Pastor,
‘Christian’,
don’t
play
with
Jesus’
words
to
suit
you!
This
will
have
immense-
and
painful
implications
for
you
at
the
day
of
reckoning.
Jesus
Christ
will
draw
ALL
people
to
Him…
even
all
unbelievers.
The
Lake
of
Fire
is
where
Jesus
will
set the record straight and that will be NO picnic… that’s for sure!
May God open your eyes.
