From Dishonour into Glory!

Better still - From ‘Worthlessness’ into Glory! 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 42  So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43  it is sown in dishonor , it is raised in glory ; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44  it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.” - New International Version The word “dishonour” used in 1 Cor. 15:43 , actually means “something perceived not having recognized value“, therefore “something perceived to be worthless”. #819 - Atimia - ἀτιμία ‘Christian’, whose bodies will be resurrected in glory, only the ‘elect’? No, ALL people. ALL people will eventually be the elect. If the Bible talks about the first resurrection, then there will be also a second resurrection. And when will the second resurrection be? After the second death, reflected in 1 Corinthians 15:26 is conquered. And what is the second death ? The Lake of Fire? And the Lake of Fire? God Himself ( Hebrews 12:29 ). 1 Corinthians 15:26 “The last enemy to be destroyed is death.” - New International Version Hebrews 12:29 “for our "God is a consuming fire."” - New International Version The so-called ‘worthless’ will, however, cleanse themselves into instruments for special purposes and they will ALSO have been made holy and useful for Christ! 2 Timothy 2:20-21 20  In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. 21  Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” - New International Version How will people cleanse themselves and be made holy by God for His special purposes? By washing their stained ‘robes’ in the Blood of Christ. See below. Revelation 7:9 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number it, out of every nation, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes , and palm branches in their hands.” - Berean Literal Bible Revelation 7:13-14 13  And one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These having been clothed with the white robes, who are they, and from where have they come?“ 14  And I said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb .” - Berean Literal Bible Is it only those thrown into the Lake of Fire who have to wash their robes in Jesus’ Blood? No, ALL people have to wash their robes… Paul and his fellow believers were not off the hook at all. Their extreme painful ‘robe washing’, took place on earth… simply because of their righteous faith ( Romans 4:5 ). They will not face the second death ( Revelation 20:6 ). They will take part in the first resurrection, not the second. They endured their pain, because their glory awaits them ( Romans 8:18 ). See, ‘Christian’, the primary key to enter God’s Kingdom is righteous faith . Discipline is a different matter, however. Righteous faith or not, all have to be chastised to become spotless. Those with righteous faith , however, graciously receive their appropriate discipline in their lifetime. Wherever, all will be painfully salted with fire ( Mark 9:49 )… salted in the Lake of Fire being the worst ! Paul heavily paid for his previous assaults on the church, but Paul’s faith and his incredible love for Christ helped him to endure throughout. Righteous faith endures! 1 Corinthians 11:32 “Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.” - New International Version “condemned” does NOT mean everlasting abandonment, but simply “judgement worthy of punishment”. This is very important to know. ‘Christian’, you who believe in everlasting damnation, it’s time for you to resist the devil who keeps you in bondage, by craftily making use of your selfish ego. Have the courage to take the leap and jump over your own shadow to embrace the Truth… regardless of your current situation. There is still time to avoid the painful corrective- and fiery hand of Christ in the Lake of Fire. Much better now, than later. Rejoice in the prospective of ALL ultimately being glorified. May God give you the courage to take the leap.
