Defending a Lost Cause
Ephesians 5:11
“Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
- Berean Study Bible
Those
calling
themselves
‘Christians’,
but
at
the
same
time
believe
in
an
everlasting
punishment
of
the
‘lost’,
are
lost
themselves, defending a lost cause! But, and thank God, they will be found!
Everlasting punishment’ is a big fat LIE.
John 3:17
“For
God
did
not
send
his
Son
into
the
world
to
condemn
the
world,
but
to
save
the
world
through
him.”
- New International Version
Luke 19:10
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.””
- Berean Study Bible
So
you
see,
not
only
does
the
Bible
itself
say
this,
but
these
so-called
‘Christians’
say
this
too…
with
their
behaviour!
How
so?
The
moment
their
ridiculous
doctrine
of
everlasting
punishment
are
questioned
by
an
outsider,
they
immediately
go
into
defense
mode.
And
since
they
have
this
[quite
understandably]
extreme
hesitance
to
defend
an
everlasting
damnation from a loving God, they rather opt for aggressive self defense.
And why this aggressive behaviour?
Because
they
themselves
feel
lost.
They
are
frustrated,
because
deep
down
inside
of
them
this
ecclesiastical
conundrum
of
a
dark
cloud
keeps
them
from
inner
peace.
When
one
has
the
TRUE
Christ
within
oneself
one
has
the
peace
that
surpasses
all
understanding
(
Philippians 4:7
).
So
then,
why
would
ANYONE,
believing
the
Bible,
oppose
another
one
who
delights
in
the
redemptive
act
of
Christ
on
the
cross
for
ALL
mankind?
Simple
to
answer.
People
believe
in
what
they
WANT
to
believe
in,
especially
when
it
comes
to
self-interest.
Like
in
the
case
of
‘everlasting-
punishment-believing’
Bible
readers,
they
WANT
to
believe
in
everlasting
punishment,
because
of
their
revengeful
hearts.
Because
then
they
have
the
‘green
light’
to
point
a
condemning
finger
to
another
to
evade
their
own
conscience.
Their
conscience
is
devouring them because of their feelings of never measuring up to their mission
.
One
never
feels
one
is
measuring
up
when
it
comes
to
self-imposed
compliance
markers
through
[pious]
deeds.
When
one
is
NOT
within
the
True
Christ,
then
one
is
still
under
the
law
of
Moses,
the
law
of
slavery!
The
True
Christ
did
away
with
sanctifying
deeds,
giving
way
to
GRACE
and
therefore
deeds
stemming
FROM
OUT
that
GRACE!
The
TRUE
Jesus
Christ
did
away
with
WORKS.
With
His
Blood,
He
declared
ALL
people
to
be
righteous,
even
ALL
the
wicked
and
unbelievers (
Romans 4:5
)! In HIM there’s NO everlasting punishment, only everlasting LIFE and JOY for ALL!
Ephesians 5:11
“Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them .”
- Berean Study Bible
Fruitless deeds?
Yes!
Like
upholding
Sabbaths
and
religious
feasts
(
Colossians 2:16-17
).
Like
upholding
rituals
and
ceremonies
in
the
name
of
‘holy
sacraments’,
including
traditional
baptismal
rites
(
Amos 5:21-23
;
Acts 2:41
,
Acts 8:36
).
This
of
course
includes
the
Torah
practitioners
within
the
so-called
‘Judeo-Christian’
movement
and
their
uphold
of
Jewish
feasts,
with
kudu
horns,
custom
made
kippahs,
tallit
shawls
and
tzitzits
as
part
of
their
paraphernalia.
To
constantly
BE
in
the
True
Christ
is
to
be
constantly
worshiping
Him
in
all
we
do
and
in
all
we
say
in
everyday
life,
not
needing
any
ceremonial-,
or
ritual
acts
as
organized
‘pious’
spectacles
for
the
world
to
watch.
Constant
worshiping
Christ
in
one’s
heart
is
what
gives
solace, fulfilment and joy to the core, even amidst unbearable adversities sometimes. Hope lies in one’s heart.
Darkness?
Yes!
Their
subtle
[sanctimonious]
conceited
acts
of
patronization
and
condescension,
especially
as
a
cop
out
strategy
of
evasion
when
confronted
with
an
outspoken
outsider
in
a
conversation
that
poses
a
threat
to
their
ability
to
respond
to.
With
this
I
specifically
refer
to
the
kind
of
confrontation
they
face
with
a
Universal-Salvation-Believing
Christian!
Unbeknownst
to
them,
they
reveal
the
fear
within
their
insecurity
around
their
christ
of
limited
atonement.
Classic
examples
of
condescension
are
“
you
are
doing
such
a
wonderful
job,
please
carry
on
doing
it
”
and
“
I
hear
your
passion
”.
Classic
cop-out
excuses
are
“
so
sorry,
cannot
talk
to
you
now,
someone
is
at
the
gate
/
door
”,
“
so
sorry,
I
cannot
talk
to
you
any longer as I’m in the middle of an important thing to do
” and “
I’m sorry, but there is a call waiting for me
”. So predictable.
Expose?
Yes!
Because
these
2.3
billion
so-called
‘Christians’
around
the
globe
are
not
used
to
be
questioned
around
something
as
fundamental
as
their
‘everlasting
damnation’
doctrine,
a
doctrine
shared
by
virtually
ALL
of
them,
irrespective
of
denomination.
This
is
a
foreign
experience
for
them
that
throw
them
off
balance,
forcing
their
inner
insecurity
to
surface
in
ways
that
do
not
reflect
their
usual
pious
behaviour
amongst
themselves.
They
need
to
be
reminded
of
these
behaviours
from
discerning
outsiders
on
the
receiving
end,
in
order
for
them
to
go
back
to
the
Spiritual
Drawing
Board
and
reconsider
their
stance
towards
the
Christ
of
the
Bible
and
what
His
Blood
has
accomplished
for
ALL
mankind.
In
a
homogeneous
faith
community
perspective
is
compromised,
so
much
so
that
anything
outside
the
spiritual
borders
is
immediately thrown into the blind spot, until it’s thrown back into their visual field.
‘
Christian
’,
does
any
of
the
above
ring
a
bell
to
you?
Have
you
made
yourself
guilty
of
(amongst
others),
being
condescending and patronizing to express your conceit? If indeed…
May God open your eyes at His Drawing Board
