Of course… why then are there so many of them? Matthew 15:19 “for out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, whoredoms, thefts, false witnessings, evil speakings:” - Young’s Literal Translation Mark 7:20-21 “ 20  And he said -- 'That which is coming out from the man , that doth defile the man; 21  for from within, out of the heart of men , the evil reasonings do come forth, adulteries, whoredoms, murders,” - Young’s Literal Translation Who were the first mortal inhabitants that succumbed to an act of sin motivated by self-interest? None other than Adam and Eve. They set the stage. They were secondary inspired by Satan to do just that, having given the ‘power of self-determination’. He planted this seed within their hearts, because he knew that man’s heart is the most vulnerable breeding ground for adulterated fruit. I say “secondary”, because God Himself is the primary Orchestrator behind every action of man… ever. Satan is thus God’s ‘Commander-in-Chief’ of “Mission Mass Deception”. Revelation 12:9 “The great dragon was hurled down-- that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray . He was hurled to the earth , and his angels with him.” - New International Version The Adversary previously known as the brilliant-, intelligent- and beautiful Lucifer, however, had to be conditioned by God in the first place in order to execute such a purposeful assignment. How? By having given him a heart of conceit, to challenge God. Jesus Christ is Satan’s biggest enemy and it is the exact reason why he denies the all-inclusive saving grace of Jesus. He does his utmost to have people follow suit and his success is astounding. What are creeds? In this case they are the multiple formal statements of the ‘Christian’ faith, respectively from out ‘Christian’ church councils (synods), each encapsulating the core tenets of its specific community. Why are there over 150 different official ‘Christian’ creeds? Why not only ONE Christian creed (please notice the omission of irony punctuation here)? Is the Bible not supposed to be the solid Foundation of a ONE Christian creed, with Jesus Christ being the Cornerstone of that liberating Foundation? There are AS many creeds AS there are interpretations. And why then are there so many interpretations? Because the original Text is SO fiddled with… manipulated to serve self-interest. What is the most prominent characteristic of Christianity that is left out in ALL of them? The universal salvation of Jesus Christ on the cross at Golgotha! It is the declaration that ALL mankind is already saved unto eternal life. This is NOWHERE to be found. Had this declaration been included, there would have been ONLY one creed and a unity of perfection within ONE Christian community throughout globe! Pastor, ‘Christian’, just go and see for yourself. The Nicene Creed (or rather the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed); The Heidelberg Catechism ; the Canons of Dort ; the Belgic Confession and the Belhar Confession . Does any of them contain this declaration? Of course not! Its omission is the core reason for ALL division , all conflict , all insecurity , all fear , all strife , all back-stabbing , all jealousy , all hypocrisy , all pride , all mud-slinging , all conceit , all anger , all malice , all pain … and the list goes on and on and on and on and on . Doesn’t God say “for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life”? 2 Corinthians 3:6 “who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant ; not of the letter , but of the spirit: for the letter killeth , but the spirit giveth life .” - American Standard Version Ephesians 4:18 “being darkened in the understanding , being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance being in them on account of the hardness of their heart ,” - Berean Literal Bible Reality of disunity shows and this reality is expressed by its symptoms (mentioned above) to whatever extent, represented in the communities resorting under EACH of those 150 creeds. Where Christ’s ultimate act of grace for ALL people is not honoured, His Spirit does not manifest and harmony is not to be found. May God open your eyes.
