I Never Knew You

Matthew 7:22-23 22   Many will say to Me in that the day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons and in your name perform many miracles?‘’ 23 And then I will declare unto them, ' I never knew you   ; depart you from Me, those working lawlessness  .'” - Berean Literal Bible #4183 - πολλοὶ - polloi -multitudinous, great in amount Pastor, in whose name are you preaching? In the name of Jesus, not so? And Pastor, how many of you have been preaching in this name over decades upon decades to billions upon billions of people? Multitudinous, right? Pastor, what makes you so sure that you will not be amongst those Jesus addressed in verse 23 above? If you resort under the ‘Christian’ community that believes in everlasting damnation, then you better contemplate on this verse before anything else. Are you preaching in the name of the Jesus, through whom God declared the ungodly (impious, wicked) to be righteous? Romans 4:5 “However, to the one not working, but believing on the One justifying the ungodly , his faith is reckoned for righteousness.” - Berean Literal Bible Are you preaching in the name of the Jesus who already save d (past tense) the world? Jesus was sent into this world for one reason only… to save it! John 3:17 “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” - Berean Study Bible And how did the TRUE Jesus do that? With His unlimited atoning Blood! Please see what Paul has to say about those who disregard this atoning Blood that save d the WHOLE world… Hebrews 10:29 “How much worse punishment do you think will he deserve, the one having trampled upon the Son of God, and having esteemed ordinary the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?” - Berean Literal Bible Pastor, no use trying to justify your condemning doctrine of ‘everlasting hell’ with futile arguments that only make your case worse. Stick to these verses above and stop trying to put the focus on biasedly-chosen verses that ‘contradict’ the above… you know, the ones appearing to be contradictive. There are NO contradictions in the Bible, except for the [too many] ones fiddled with by means of grammar and ‘add-ons’. 2 Timothy 2:23 “And refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they breed quarrels.” - Berean Literal Bible If you preach(ed) a Jesus other than the One above, then that simply means you do NOT know the Jesus that will appear on the last day! Your fictitious ‘Jesus’, whose ‘atoning blood’ was limited, is NOT the Jesus whose atoning Blood was unlimited… and therefore is your ‘Jesus’ NOT the True Jesus of the Bible… the Jesus of True Christianity 2 Corinthians 11:4 “For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.” - New International Version About the “working lawless” in the first verse… Pastor, which law did Jesus refer to in this verse? The working law of Moses? No Pastor, the liberating law of grace. There is ONLY one law now… the law of Christ. John 13:34 “A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another.” - Berean Study Bible 1 Corinthians 9:21 “To those free from the law I became like one free from the law (though I am not free from God's law but under the law of Christ ) to gain those free from the law.” - NET Bible Romans 6:14 “For sin will not rule over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.” - Berean Literal Bible Pastor, are you aware of the fact that the church you are a member of is still operating under the Old Testament [obsolete] Covenant? Please go on your knees and ask the Holy Spirit to tell you what the Bible really says about the Sabbath, the Lord’s Supper and Baptism… about “special” days. The new Covenant has done away with all the rituals of the old one. Rituals are acts of work. The New Covenant is ALL about Freedom in Christ… with NO strings attached, but ONE… love within Christ for all humanity. Only the Holy Spirit can open your eyes, Pastor. May He do so.
