Who gave Abraham his Faith?
Romans 4: 20
“Yet
he
did
not
waver
through
disbelief
in
the
promise
of
God,
but
was
strengthened
in
his
faith
and gave glory to God,”
- Berean Study Bible
Romans 12:3
“For
by
the
grace
given
me
I
say
to
every
one
of
you:
Do
not
think
of
yourself
more
highly
than
you
ought,
but
rather
think
of
yourself
with
sober
judgment,
in
accordance
with
the
faith
God
has distributed to each of you
.”
- New International Version
Pastor,
‘Christian’,
who
gives
faith,
clearly
reflected
by
Paul
in
his
letters
to
the
Romans
above?
God
rules
over
all
(
Psalm 103:19
).
Abraham
was
the
most
important
role
player
in
God’s
plan
for
the
salvation
of
all
humanity…
in
the
Book of Genesis already.
God
had predestined everything before the foundation of the earth (
Acts 17:26
).
Proverbs 16:9
“A man’s heart plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.”
- Berean Study Bible
God’s
Plan
was
perfectly
worked
out,
with
His
ultimate
goal
to
be
fulfilled
at
the
consummation…
His
goal
of
everlasting
joy
with
ALL
His
children.
Pastor,
‘Christian’,
His
absolute
Sovereignty
and
Supremacy
have
dominion
over
your
every
action
,
your
every
thought.
Do
you
accept
this
Authority
of
Him
only
when
it
suits
you?
Just
know
that
in
that
case
a
painful
penalty
will
be
inevitable.
God
is
not
to
be
mocked.
To
choose
,
believe
and
think
are
all
actions
and
God
determines our
every action
.
Proverbs 16:33
“The dice are thrown into the lap, but their every decision is from the LORD.”
- NET Bible
#2436 - ba·ḥêq - בַּ֭חֵיק – lap meaning bosom
Abraham’s
obedience
was
ALSO
not
on
his
own
account,
but
on
God’s
account.
God
does
not
wait
for
us
to
see
what
we
are
going
to
do
and
adapt
His
plan
around
that.
No,
He
does
it
FOR
us.
He
Himself
planned
our
every
step
before
we
were
even
born…
to
perfectly
fit
into
the
slot
already
allotted
for
in
HIS
Plan.
This
unfamiliar
angle
of
reasoning
is
meant
to
dig
out
suppressed
logic
that
will
hopefully
bring
dooming
‘Christians’
to
their
senses.
However,
it’s
up
to
God
to
do
that.
To conclude…
Pastor,
‘Christian’,
you
have
the
‘free
will’
mindset
like
the
rest
of
the
world,
not
so?
Like
the
world,
you
also
use
it
as
a
justification
to
point
a
lofty
finger
to
another
who
either
resorts
under
another
belief
system,
or
who
is
not
up
to
[your]
standard.
Have
you
ever
considered
the
fact
that
the
faith
of
the
“another”
is
also
the
work
of
the
God
of
the
Bible?
Just
as
God
gave
Paul
and
Abraham
their
[true]
faith,
He
gave
the
unbeliever
his/her
faith
as
well,
albeit
a
faith
to
be
rectified
later (
Hebrews 12:2
).
May God open your eyes.
