‘Christian’, Why do you run away when
Confronted?
Acts 24:25
“And
of
him
reasoning
concerning
righteousness
and
self-control
and
the
coming
judgment,
Felix,
having
become
frightened,
answered,
"Go
away
for
the
present,
and
having
found
opportunity,
I
will
call for you."”
- Berean Literal Bible
‘Christian’,
are
you
like
Felix…
cutting
the
one
short
who
talks
to
you
about
Christ
the
Saviour
of
all
humanity?
Moreover,
other
than
Felix,
do
you
cut
the
one
short
who
confronts
you
by
simply
pretending
to
agree
with
him/her…
with
the
hope
of
ending
the
conversation
and
be
spared
a
situation
of
your
insecurity
being
exposed?
A
classic
stunt
so
often
used
by
so-called
‘Christians’
when
confronted.
Or
do
you
simply
either
remain
quiet,
or
become
[sometimes
violently]
aggressive? This is also happening ever so frequently.
Felix
became
tremendously
nervous…
especially
with
the
‘judgement’
part
in
Paul’s
reasoning.
‘Christian’,
this
behaviour
from
members
of
your
‘eternal-hell-believing’
society
has
become
the
norm
in
our
experience
and
there
can
ONLY
be
one
reason
for
that…
their
fear
of
the
very
‘eternal
hell
fire’
they
so
vehemently
condemn
unbelievers
to.
And
you
know
what,
‘Christian’…
your
fear
is
justified,
however
much
the
‘hell’
being
of
NO
eternal
duration…
but
an
interim
place
of
painful discipline (
Revelation 21:8
)
.
‘Christian’, how many times has your faith been challenged? How did you respond?
