Our Faith THE BIBLE JESUS CHRIST BAPTISM HOLY COMMUNION GOD HOLY SPIRIT SABBATH SALVATION BAPTISM Matthew 3:14-15 “ 14 But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” 15 “Let it be so now,” Jesus replied. “It is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness in this way .” Then John permitted Him.” - Berean Standard Bible There is ONLY ONE Baptism accepted by God and that is the Baptism AFTER an UNEQUIVOCAL declaration of faith in JESUS CHRIST , who ALREADY SAVED the WHOLE WORLD with His shed Blood. It is the acknowledgment of His TOTAL ATONEMENT for ALL humanity, the fundamental Cornerstone of True Christianity. ONLY someone with THIS belief is allowed to baptise the one who wants to be baptised. Even if there’s only you, Christ and His holy angels will be there with you as witnesses! Our declaration of faith around baptism… 1 We believe baptism has only meaning when done upon repentance. 2 We believe baptism without faith in the Christ who saved ALL mankind, has no value. 3 We believe baptism has only meaning when done through submersion. 4 We believe baptism, according to the above, is the security for a clear conscience. 5 We believe baptism into the TRUE Christ is a prerequisite for being born again. 1 We believe baptism has only meaning when done upon repentance. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” - New International Version 2 We believe baptism without faith in the Christ who saved ALL mankind, has no value. 1 Timothy 4:10 “That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people , and especially of those who believe.” - New International Version Luke 16:16 “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” - New International Version 3 We believe baptism has only meaning when done through submersion. Romans 6:4 “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised up out from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life.” - Berean Literal Bible Acts 8:36-38 “ 36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?“ 37 And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.“ 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.” - New International Version Colossians 2:12 “And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.” - Berean Study Bible 4 We believe baptism, according to the above, is the security for a clear conscience. 1 Peter 3:21 “And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” - Berean Study Bible Hebrews 9:13-14 “ 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.” - English Standard Version 5 We believe baptism into the TRUE Christ is a prerequisite for being born again. The old things have passed away; behold, the new has come into being” - Berean Literal Bible Colossians 2:12 “And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.” - Berean Study Bible To recap… The ONLY way to regard yourself a Christian is to be baptised in the Name of the Jesus Christ of the Bible, the Jesus Christ proclaimed by the apostles Luke , John , Peter and Paul . Therefore, The Jesus Christ Who saved the whole world , already on the cross! Luke 2:10 “But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.” - New International Version Jesus came in flesh to FIRST SAVE the world. Then in Spirit to JUDGE it AFTER He was resurrected! 1 John 2:2 “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world .” - New International Version 2 Corinthians 5:19 “namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” - NASB 1995
